Hey roadies!

After daylight savings, which begins on March 11th this year, group rides are back! They are every Tuesday and Thursday at 6p.m. from our south end store located at 31 New Orleans Road, Suite B. The rides will last until the end of Daylight Savings in November.

Visitors are welcome to join! It is a fun, aggressive ride and the locals’ favorite. Group rides are a great way to meet your neighbors while getting some exercise. Bring a friend or come solo and join in! Our group rides provide companionship and competitiveness. No matter if you’re a beginner or if you’re an expert, group rides are a fun way to get to know other Hilton Head Island residents and stay active.

Even if you are not a resident of Hilton Head Island, our group rides are a fantastic way to exercise while on vacation. Come join us and get to know a little about what island life is really like. Group rides also allow you to explore the beauty of the island without worrying about getting lost!

If you wan to come but don’t have a bike, make sure to check out our website for great rental deals! We have both beach cruisers and road bikes available to suit all of your needs.

Typically on our group rides a ten-mile loop is completed 1, 2, or 3+ times. The distance depends on how far and long you want to ride. We ride on Route 278, Cordillo Parkway and South Forest Beach Drive. We maintain an average speed of about 20mph, and the full ride usually lasts about an hour-and-a-half.

Check out Scott’s tracking from one of his rides to get an idea of speed, distance and route.

It is recommended that you bring water and a helmet.

We can’t wait to see you there!
